City Council

The seven member City Council is elected at large and serve 4-year terms. The City Council elects a Mayor and Deputy Mayor from the Council to serve 2-year terms.

The City Manager operates as the Chief Executive Officer of the City, and is responsible to the City Council for the administration of municipal functions.

City Attorney

The City Attorney is the legal advisor to the City Council and of all other city officials and employees. As such, the City Attorney provides legal representation for all city government related matters.

City Clerk

The City Clerk provides general information about the City of Port Angeles to the public. The Clerk prepares and preserves the minutes for City Council.

City ordinances, resolutions and other official City records are preserved by the Clerk along with the responsibility of codification of the Port Angeles Municipal Code.

Customer Services Division is responsible for providing centralized cashiering, meter reading, utility billing, credit and collection, and customer service in support of the City's electric, water, wastewater, and solid waste utilities. Additionally, central switchboard operations are the responsibility of this division.

Pen Com, or Peninsula Communications, is the communications division for the Port Angeles Police Department. Pen Com is the centralized answering point for all 911 calls in Clallam County and the Jefferson County portion of Olympic National Park.

Our responsibility is to provide the City of Port Angeles with electricity, water, wastewater treatment, stormwater and solid waste services - as well as maintaining city streets, and sidewalks.
