Temporary Position - Estimated to run through June 30, 2022, with potential to be extended.


Job Summary: 

Under general supervision, the specialist performs a variety of detailed office work and records maintenance functions involving data entry, transcription, retention, maintenance, retrieval and dissemination of police reports. Other duties include responding to in-person and telephone inquiries and requests, maintaining database information, issuing licenses, and applying law enforcement policies and procedures. Work is performed independently in accordance with well-defined, established Departmental procedures and various State, municipal, and Federal laws relative to maintenance of law enforcement record systems. 

 

Salary:  

Annual salary range is $46,635.68 - $56,673.76 annually ($22.421 - $27.247 per hour)

Position is represented by the Teamsters Communications and Support Unit Local #589.
