Planning Commission
Roles & Responsibilities
The Planning Commission acts as the City Council’s hearing body and forwards recommendations to the City Council on land development actions that include preparation of the city’s comprehensive plan, which is the framework for land development within the city, zoning regulations, and Community Development Block Grant funded Facade and Sign Improvement Grants.
Planning Commissioners are appointed to four-year terms, with a limit of two consecutive terms. Members shall be residents of the City.
Meetings
Regular meetings of the Planning Commission occur at 6 p.m. on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month in the City Council Chambers of City Hall:

The planning commission is moving towards providing all materials on the City’s website. If there is something Planning Commission related that you cannot find, please contact Planning Division staff and they will provide it as soon as they are able.
