Blue Mountain Transfer Station is newly operated by the City of Port Angeles. It is located at 1024 Blue Mountain Road, approximately halfway between Port Angeles and Sequim.
Head east on Highway 101 for approximately 5.5 miles. Turn right onto Blue Mountain Road and proceed about 1 mile to the station. The gate is on the right.
Head west on Highway 101 for approximately 6.5 miles. Turn left onto Blue Mountain Road and proceed about 1 mile to the station. The gate is on the right.
Days of Operation are Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Mornings and Saturdays are very busy - if possible, consider arriving at another time. 2021 fees are as follows:
Large appliances, furniture larger than 4 feet x 4 feet, construction debris, tires, and yard waste are not accepted, but can be taken to the Regional Transfer Station in Port Angeles.
Cash, checks, credit cards and debit cards are accepted. Make checks payable to "DM Disposal".
There is no charge for recycling. There are 4 drop boxes for recycling:

Motor oil and antifreeze are also collected. No automotive batteries or metals are collected at this site for recycling. Please note: glass recycling is not accepted at this time.
