On Thursday, February 3, 2022, at about 5:45 AM, Port Angeles Police Officers responded to the 300 Block of West First Street for a report of a disturbance. 
The investigation, revealed that the driver of a gray SUV entered a store and was making a purchase inside. While that driver was inside, a white sedan parked on the south side of West First Street. Two people from the white sedan approached the gray SUV and then fled back towards the white sedan. Someone in the gray SUV drove the vehicle across First Street and rammed the white sedan. As the gray SUV rammed the white sedan, an occupant of the sedan fired a single round from a pistol at the gray SUV. Both vehicles then fled the scene. 
The Port Angeles Police Department encourages anyone with information about this incident to call 452-4545 and provide information to any officer.
