On Monday, May 30, 2022 at about 11:15 PM Officer Nate Clark, Officer Luke Brown, and Corporal Sean Ryan responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 2300 block of W. 18th Street. When Officer Clark arrived he found the victim with a seriously injured, possibly broken, arm and learned that the suspect attacked her with a board. A broken board was recovered from the scene. 
Officers obtained a search warrant for the motor home that the couple live in. Officer Brown, a trained negotiator, initiated a dialogue with the suspect, who emerged from the motor home and submitted peacefully to arrest. He was booked into the jail for Assault Second Degree, Domestic Violence. The victim was hospitalized and treated for her injuries.
