On Friday June 2nd PAPD and PA Fire units were called to a location on First Street regarding a dog that appeared to be stuck on a roof. Arriving units found a dog in distress and on a roof ledge too high for it to safely jump onto the sidewalk. With teamwork between PA FIre Ladder 11 and Engine 11 crews and PAPD K9 and Patrol Officers they were able to gain access to the dog and reassure it long enough for the owner to be located.
