NOTICE of PUBLIC HEARING

of the PORT ANGELES CITY COUNCIL

Surplus Property

Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Port Angeles will hold a Public Hearing at the regular City Council meeting on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at 6:30 p.m., or soon thereafter. This meeting will be conducted as a hybrid meeting.  In hybrid meetings, members of the public, Council members, and City staff have the option to attend the meeting in person in the Council chambers at City Hall, located at 321 East 5th Street in Port Angeles, or remotely via telephone or video link.  

For those attending remotely, learn how to participate during public comment and or watch the meeting live by visiting: https://www.cityofpa.us/Live-Virtual-Meetings. Listening and webcast options will be available at www.cityofpa.us.

The purpose of the public hearing is for City Council to receive testimony and evidence regarding the proposal to surplus the property at the corner of North Jones and East Water Streets.  This hearing was originally scheduled for the December 20, 2022, Council meeting.  It was continued to the January 17, 2023 Council meeting due to inclement weather. 

To provide pre-recorded messages to the City Council by phone, please call 360-417-4504. Messages received will be made a part of the final record. Comments should be received by 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 17, 2023.
