The City of Port Angeles is seeking input on the recently launched Micro-mobility Scooter Rideshare Pilot Program. This program, offered by Bird Scooter in partnership with the City of Port Angeles, provides electric scooters (e-scooters) to residents and visitors in downtown Port Angeles.

Background
In 2022, the City of Port Angeles partnered with Bird Scooter to offer an e-scooter rideshare pilot program to the Port Angeles community. A Temporary Operating Agreement was signed on July 31, 2022 and remains in effect through September 30, 2023. The limited time period allows the City, its residents and visitors to evaluate the program.
On May 26, 2023, Bird Scooter launched the program, deploying 75 scooters in the downtown area. This program has been made available at no cost to the City of Port Angeles.
