The City of Port Angeles has opened the request for proposals for its annual Lodging Tax Event and Non-Event 2020 funding distribution. Funding RFP Applications are due November 15 at 5:00 pm. The City Council approved the 2020 Lodging Tax Fund budget at their October 1st meeting. The budget includes:
Capital Facilities (Non-Event) - $212,340 (30%)
LTAC Priorities (Non-Event) - $35,390 (5%)
Marketing (Non-Event) - $141,560 (20%)
Operations (Non-Event)- $233,574 (33%)
Events - $84,936 (12%)

There have been some changes to both rfp applications and how the Lodging Tax Advisory Board will reqview the proposals. Guideline documents that are included in each of the RFP's will assist applicants in understanding state requirements, the application process, and changes that have been made for the 2020 funding request process.
