[ARCHIVED] Customer Service Announcement:

Utility Bill Payment Relief Update

The City recently became aware of information circulating that the City will be writing off past due utility bill balances that are the result of the COVID-19 crisis. To clarify the City is not able to write off past due balances, but what the City can do is:

  • waive interest accrued on late utility payments
  • place you on a payment plan
  • determine if you are eligible for the City’s low-income discount program
  • waive all Parking Business Improvement Area (PBIA) fees for the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th quarters of 2020

In order to be placed on a payment plan, you must email Customer Service at utilities@cityofpa.us, or call 360-457-0411.

To find out more information regarding the City’s low-income discount program, click here to access the Utility Discount Application packet.

Thank you.
