The Parks & Recreation Department has adjusted public restroom operating hours for the winter season. Under the winter schedule, the following restrooms will be open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and on weekends from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.:
- City Pier
- Downtown Restrooms
- Gateway
- Ediz Hook
- Elks Playfield
- Erickson Playfield
- Lincoln Park
- Shane Park
The Portland Loos, located at the Gateway Transit Center and Breezeway Parking Lot areas of downtown Port Angeles, remain available to the public 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Other than the Portland Loos, all City public restrooms will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.
This schedule is subject to change. During the winter season, severe weather and sustained below-freezing temperatures may require periodic restroom closures to prevent pipes from freezing and bursting. If this occurs, closure signage will be posted.
