Lindsey Schromen-Wawrin works as a lawyer, focusing on constitutional law issues of government authority and accountability. He earned a J.D. summa cum laude from Gonzaga University, and is licensed to practice law in Washington State Courts, as well as the federal Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, Third Circuit Court of Appeals, Eastern District of Washington, and Western District of Washington.

Previously, Councilmember Schromen-Wawrin earned a B.A. from Oberlin College, studying systems ecology, environmental studies, and chemistry.

He worked as a field science educator for over seven years, including one year as an AmericCorp volunteer.

Councilmember Schromen-Wawrin was born and raised in Port Angeles, and attended Hamilton Elementary School, Stevens Middle School, and Port Angeles High School.

The people of Port Angeles elected Councilmember Schromen-Wawrin in November 2017; he began his term on the Council in January 2018.
